Here is Jeanette’s Post:
Banana and Mango Ice Cream
The summer has arrived and what do children and adults want to cool down with when it’s really hot outside?! Well, I believe ice cream is a good start 🙂
The best thing is that you really don’t have to go and buy ice cream, cause often you do have the ingredients at home so you can make your own ice cream.
If you or the children likes bananas, you probably have that fruit at home often and frozen berries is also a standard thing to have in the fridge, maybe you often do smoothies or use it for baking.
I promise you, banana and frozen berries or fruits is the only thing you need to make your own ice cream. It doesn’t only taste very good, this is mostly the best healthy ice cream you can do as well.
I have today a very quick and easy recipe for you on banana and mango ice cream.
Servings: 2 portions
Ingredients:
2 frozen bananas
½ cup frozen mango
Directions
The first thing you do need to do is the day before take 2 bananas and slice them and put them in a freezer bag and put it in the freezer. Cause it’s important that the fruit is frozen when you are making the ice cream.
Use a blender or mixer and put in the frozen banana slices and the frozen mango and then you mix the frozen fruit together. When it’s done, take an ice cream scoop and scoop up the ice cream in bowls.
You can add some lovely topping if you want or eat it as it is. Healthy and so delicious.
