Montessori Inspired Toddler Festive Activities

It’s Christmas time and if your kids are anything like mine then they’ll love playing with all the stockings, decorations, and any other festive accessories they can find!

Luckily, this month’s My Little Keepers box is packed full of enriching activities to occupy those little hands.

We have stockings to stuff with presents, which is a great twist on traditional Montessori open and close work. Your child will love taking out all the pressies and putting them back in again.

The December box also offers a range of puzzles including Christmas matching activities and a magnifying game. These are an important way to work on both memory and visual discrimination skills.

There’s even the opportunity to practice letter identification to form the foundation of your child’s reading.

Finally, what could be better than a snuggle and a bedtime story? How about the ‘Where’s Santa?’ board book?

Christmas is such a fun time of year, and the My Little Keepers box is an easy way to introduce your child to some of the season’s most magical elements – from reindeers and Christmas trees to Father Christmas himself!

Wishing you all a very merry Christmas with your family and friends!
