I promised an update of our Montessori environment when I’ve got my second child….? Well, that was almost a year ago 🙂 I’ve been putting it off, waiting to ‘finish’ arranging the furniture and Montessori materials into their ‘perfect’ places, but that’s never really going to happen! Now when I have 6 years old and 2 years old the entire house will always be a work in progress and I will have to continue adjusting the layout and content as the children’s needs change. It never ends! So here it is our light-filled Montessori home…
Living Room
The living room is the hub of our home. We’ve got an open plan so it is plenty of space. We don’t need a separate “play room” for children because we spend most of our time in the living room, and they want to be where we are. I intentionally devoted all of the low shelves to their toys, so we can create ”an environment of yes’s.”
Kitchen Area
Emil’s got essential kitchen tools that he uses everyday and independently. The best money ever spent was on this Melissa & Doug Cleaning Set!
Reading/Play Area in their bedroom
Hallway Area
And that’s it!

I love Montessori and how they keep education fun, interesting and entertaining to little ones. I love how your home reflects all this

It seems to be really well set out. There are plenty of things to keep a little one busy and learning at the same time.
