Before I roll my sleeves and get start with peeling, steaming, boiling, cutting and blending I need few must have tools. Not to get confused there is on market so many ”musts” but realistically we have most of it already at home. However some things are essential and you should have them to be able to make all those delicious baby purees. I put together little list what you need to start making baby food (many of the items from my list I have already used before I become mother myself – mostly through my job) so here we are:
Philips AVENT SCF870/21 Combined Baby Food Steamer and Blender £89.95 this super useful gadget is a little bit pricy but in few weeks time it will pay for itself for sure. Very easy to use and easy to clean. All your food will be steamed to perfection.
Mushy Mushy Baby Food Storage, 9 Easy To Remove Pots, Durable Silicone Freezer Trays with Recipe eBook, Great Container for weaning, Lifetime Guarantee £11.99 my favorite baby product so far, superb quality in every way.
BABYBJÖRN Soft Bib (Orange/ Turquoise) £13.99 I would say bib is matter of personal choice and every baby is individually different but those BJORN’s bibs are my choice and generally I prefer plastic ones.
Tommee Tippee Explora Soft Tip Weaning Spoons (5-pack) £1.99 nice long spoons which make first few weeks of weaning a little easier.
Tommee Tippee Essentials First Cup (Pink) £3.99 I like this first cup because it is very easy for little hands to grasp handles and give himself/herself water.
Tommee Tippee Food Storage Pots and Lids 4+ Months (Colours May Vary, 3-Pack) £4.59 those little pots I use for feeding baby but they can be used when you are away from home or food storage.
Until my first puree…Happy Weaning!!
