Montessori Inspired Apple Unit for Toddlers

Autumn is a great time for an apple unit study for school or homeschool.  I love the coziness of autumn – and apple inspired activities just add to that feeling of coziness.

This Montessori inspired apple unit includes activities for fine motor art work, practical life snack preparation, language work, numeracy activity and nature table.

Apple Stickers – perfect activity for fine motor skills.

Apple inspired numeracy activity. Mia loves this activity and we are currently learning the names and symbols of numbers.

Apple Print – Making, this art activity is huge fun. To set up, I put red, green, and yellow paint on separate paper plates and  I cut the apples in half so she could see the seed pods inside.

Apple Nature Table – we observed ”real” apples, tasted them, read the story about apples, played with this gougers  apple tree and enjoyed all the fun!
